1DAY SHELDRICK WATERFALL
1DAY SHELDRICK WATERFALL TOUR
This is a tour to the natural waterfall located inside the Shimba Hills National Reserve. It is a 21-metre waterfall about 45 minuted drive from Diani Beach. It was named after David Leslie William Sheldrick (founder of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust). It is also a hike because you walk down the hill to the waterfall point 2.5 kilometres and another 2.5 kilometres up the hill. It is a very good adventure and exercise. You access the waterfall via park entry. There are rangers to escort visitors and ensure their safety so no worries of wild animals at all. Ranger-led groups walk usually depart from the main reserve gate at 10:00am and 14:00pm. You wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes and carry a swim suit. Also carry enough drinking water. You can also swim at the waterfall and have some fun. We can also have a small game drive to see buffaloes and Sable Antelopes.
