Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo east is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya covering an area of 13,700 square kilometres. It is park of Tsavo conservation area which also includes Tsavo west national park. Tsavo East is well-known for its divers and breathtaking landscapes hence a popular safari destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The park is also well known for its large herds of the red elephant. It’s a home of the “Big Five”(lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros). Other animal species include zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gerenuks, impalas, kudus and many bird species. 

FAVOURITE SPOTS

Lugard Falls

Located on the galana river. Lugard Falls is a series of rapids and cataracts where the river narrows between rocky outcrops. It’s a stunning scenery and it provides a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the park.

Mudanda Rock

This is a Rock formation and popular viewpoint offering panoramic views of surrounding plains and watering holes. It’s an excellent spot for spotting wildlife especially during the dry season when animals gather around the water holes.

Aruba Dam

It’s another water source in the park.  Aruba dam attracts variety of animals like elephants, buffalos and diverse array of birdlife. The dam provides a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy the wildlife.
