Tsavo West National Park is a massive 9,065- square-kilometre wilderness in south-eastern Kenya. It’s about 250 kilometres from Mombasa town. Tsavo West is renowned for its spectacular volcanic landscapes, the “Big Five” (Lions, elephants, Leopards, rhinocerous, buffalos) and the famous red elephants. Other animal species to see are giraffes, zebras,impalas,hippos,crocodiles and various burd species. Like Tsavo East, Tsavo West is a popular safari destination and it forms part of Tsavo conservation area in Kenya. It offers a rugged safari experience.

Mzima Springs
It’s a lush oasis fed by underground springs where you can view hippos and crocodiles from underwater glass observatory.
Shetani Lava Flow
It’s a vast, dramatic expanse of solidified black lava and volcanic cones that contrast beautifully with the surrounding bush.
Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary
This is a heavily guarded, 90-square-kilometre fenced area dedicated to successfully breeding and protecting the endangered black Rhino.
Lake Jipe
This is a favourite and perfect spot for bird-watching and boat Safaris
