Is doing a Safari in Kenya Cheap?

In life, there is nothing worth that is cheap. A safari in Kenya can be expensive and yet cheap but to me it’s not cheap because you are paying for it and it may become expensive even more when the company you used to do a Safari doesn’t deliver. With Pamofa Tours we will deliver and that will earn you value for your money.

What are tipping and gratuity guidelines?

Tipping on a Kenyan Safari is entirely discretionary and a way to show appreciation for exceptional service rather than a mandatory requirement. Guides, drivers and Lodge staffs work hard make your safari experience unforgettable and tips provide supplementary income that directly supports them and their families.

You can tip in cash, through mobile apps or even with small tokens of gratitude. The amount is flexible and should reflect the level of service you received. It is absolutely a personal gesture of appreciation.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my safari and how much?

In the safari industry, it’s standard practice to settle all costs before your adventure begins. This ensures that accommodations, flights, park permits and other logistics are fully secured allowing for a smooth and unforgettable safari experience.  However, we can have a discussion and agree of payment methods.

How to apply for Kenya Tourist Electronic Travel Authorisation.

Formerly known as the Tourist Visa, Kenya’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) is an essential entry requirement for most international visitors planning to explore the scenic beauty, diverse wildlife and rich culture of this East African destination.

The eTA is a semi-automated system introduced by the Government of the Republic of Kenya to access and determine the eligibility of travellers before they arrive. It simplifies the visa process and ensures a smoother Travel experience for all visitors.

What Is the Kenya eTA?

The Kenya eTA replaces the traditional tourist visa and serves as an online Travel authorisation that must be obtained prior to boarding your flight. While an approved eTA grants permission to travel to Kenya, final entry approval is determined by immigration officers upon arrival.

Certain nationalities are exempt from applying for an eTA. Travellers should verify their country’s status on the official Kenya immigration website before applying.

Before visiting world-famous destinations such as:
